v1.11.0 Update Announcement

v1.11.0 Has Been Released

Writing PBIs matters. But starting from a blank page can feel heavy. What if AI handled the first draft, and your team jumped straight into the conversation? That’s when Scrum starts to feel fun again.

We’re thrilled to announce a major update that brings the power of AI to your backlog management. The highlight of v1.11.0 is AI-powered PBI generation, which lets you create Product Backlog Items instantly with just a few clicks.

🤖 AI PBI Generation

AI can now automatically generate Product Backlog Items tailored to your project context.

  • Context-Aware Generation — AI reads your current Sprint and Epic filters and automatically applies them to newly generated PBIs, so they land exactly where you need them
  • Rich Loading UI — A dedicated progress visualization keeps you informed while the AI works, making the generation process feel seamless and transparent
  • Plan-Based Usage Limits — AI generation is available with monthly limits based on your plan (Micro: 20/month, Team: 100/month), giving every team access to AI-assisted backlog management

✏️ Intuitive Drag Handle

We’ve introduced drag handles to the rich text editor, bringing a more intuitive editing experience to your PBI descriptions.

  • Block Reordering — Hover over any block to reveal a drag handle, then drag and drop to rearrange content intuitively
  • Smooth Interaction — The drag handle appears on hover and works naturally with all block types including paragraphs, headings, lists, and more

💬 Comment UX Improvements

Collaboration on PBIs just got smoother with several comment experience enhancements.

  • New Comments on Top — Newly posted comments now appear at the top of the thread with automatic scrolling and a brief highlight animation, so you never miss the latest discussion
  • Improved Tooltips — Action buttons in the comment area now feature clear tooltips, making it easier for new users to discover available actions

🧭 Other Improvements

  • Helpful Placeholder Text — Input fields across the app now display more descriptive placeholder text, guiding users on what to enter
  • Epic Tooltips — Hovering over Epics now shows a tooltip with additional details, improving discoverability and onboarding for new team members
