Release Bug Fix

Fixed assignee avatars disappearing on long-open boards and live updates — keep your team's faces in view

Update released

Even when the kanban stays open all day, you can now reliably tell who owns which task at a glance — by face, not just initials.

👤 More reliable avatar display

After leaving the kanban board open for a long time, assignee avatars would sometimes fall back to default initials. This release adds a quietly self-healing path that detects an image load failure and automatically fetches a fresh URL — so the avatar reappears without you needing to reload the page.

🔁 Holds steady on assignee changes and live updates

Avatars could also flicker out for a moment when you dragged a task to another column, changed the assignee, or when someone else updated a task and the change streamed in over a real-time subscription. That’s gone too — the face on the card stays put while you work.

⚡ Fully automatic — no action required

The recovery is completely automatic. You don’t need to change any settings or reload the page. We only re-fetch the URL at the exact moment a load failure happens, so the extra network cost stays minimal.
