Update released
This release grows CSV import from a one-person operation into a team operation. Everyone viewing the same project picks up "new PBIs landed" without missing it, and they can pick up the work in their own language all the way through.
🔔 You won’t miss a teammate’s CSV import any more
Until now, if someone else bulk-imported PBIs via CSV, your screen stayed stale until you reloaded — there was no moment that told you new PBIs had arrived at all.
With this release, members viewing the same project’s product backlog list see a badge in the bottom-right: “Another user added N PBIs via CSV” / “Reload”.
- The badge doesn’t auto-dismiss. Click “Reload” to refresh the list and the tab count badges, or × to dismiss it
- It stays silent on your own screen when you’re the one importing (your client already received the response)
- When the name resolves, it reads “{Name} added N PBIs via CSV”, ordered by locale (“family given” in Japanese, “given family” in English / Tagalog / Vietnamese)
- Back-to-back imports within a 5-second window don’t stack additional badges — only the count grows (and we suppress the re-animation)
- Members viewing a different project never see it
It structurally reduces “someone bulk-added rows that conflict with my edits” and “I missed the PBI someone just wrote and duplicated it” incidents.
🌐 New projects open in your language
When members using English, Tagalog, or Vietnamese create a new project, the initial backlog statuses are seeded in that language.
| Language | PBI status seed |
|---|---|
| Japanese | 新規 / 準備完了 / 開発中 / 確認待ち / 完了 |
| English | New / Ready / In Progress / In Review / Done |
| Tagalog | Bago / Handa / Ginagawa / Sa Pagsusuri / Tapos |
| Vietnamese | Mới / Sẵn sàng / Đang thực hiện / Đang xem xét / Hoàn thành |
Epic and Task statuses also follow each locale. For Task “To Do”, we tuned the Tagalog and Vietnamese forms (Gagawin / Cần làm) so they read naturally as a verb on a Kanban board instead of being a literal dictionary translation.
Combined with the CSV import template that already injects the project’s current status names, this completes the experience for English-speaking, Filipino, and Vietnamese members: write your CSV in your own language, and bulk-load it under your own language’s statuses.
Existing projects keep their status names (“新規” stays “新規”). The locale-aware seed only applies to projects created from this release onward.
🌓 Dark-mode gap inside the CSV import dialog
The drop zone and preview area inside the CSV import dialog used to render in cream (the light-mode background) even when the rest of the app was in dark mode. Now they follow dark mode through. Nothing changes for light-mode users; dark-mode regulars get one less inconsistency to flinch at.
✉️ Subscription-expired banner translation fix
The “Select Plan” button on the subscription-expired banner was showing the raw translation key for English, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. It now shows the proper localized label in each language.
