Release Bug Fix

Pulling charts and Kanban all the way through dark mode

Update released

A companion sweep to last week's CSV import dialog dark-mode fix — this release rounds up the remaining dark-mode holdouts in the chart and Kanban surfaces. Dark-mode regulars get a handful of small "wait, that one spot is still cream" moments to quietly disappear.

🌓 Three charts now follow dark mode end-to-end

In dark mode, the tooltip frame and its border on the Sprint Burndown, Sprint Burnup, and Velocity Trend charts used to stay in light-mode cream. With this release, all three charts pull the tooltip area into the dark palette as well.

🌓 Task Kanban columns, cards, and hover all line up in dark mode

The task Kanban also had a handful of places that stayed in light-mode tones, making dark mode feel inconsistent at the seams. This release rounds them up together:

  • Kanban column background and the divider at the top of each column
  • The border and background of a task card while you’re dragging it
  • The strikethrough on completed tasks and the hover background
  • The faint hover tint when you mouse over a column

💡 No effect on light mode

We didn’t change the underlying CSS values — only the access path (through theme variables), so light mode looks pixel-for-pixel the same. If you primarily use light mode, nothing changes. If you live in dark mode, you’ll find one less visual flinch each time you open these views.
