Update released
On your roadmap Kanban, you can now create an epic directly from any lane—Now, Next, or Later. There's no need to move the card afterward, so planning keeps flowing without interruption.
🗂️ Every new epic used to start in the same lane
In the epic Kanban view we introduced recently, a new epic could only be added from the create button at the top of the screen, and it always landed in the Now lane.
So if you wanted an epic to sit under Next or Later, you had to create it first and then drag it over to the right lane—an extra step right in the middle of shaping your plan.
➕ Create an epic directly from any lane
With this update, you can now create an epic right from each lane on the board—Now, Next, or Later—and it’s added straight to that lane.
Because you can create it where it belongs from the start, there’s no need to drag the card afterward. Building out your roadmap stays uninterrupted, and the rhythm of planning carries through.
🧭 Less reshuffling, a roadmap that stays organized
You place each epic exactly where it should go the moment you capture it, so your lanes stay tidy and your plan reflects your thinking right away.
That makes the roadmap easier to keep current, and easier to share with everyone looking at the same board.
