Visibility in dark mode is better across the board. Elements that used to blend into the dark background now show up clearly, so you can take in each state at a glance without missing anything.
🌙 Some elements were hard to see in dark mode
When you used dark mode, the color of some elements blended into the background on a few screens, making it easy to miss information that was actually there.
Specifically: (1) the strikethrough on completed items was hard to see, making it tricky to tell done from not-done; (2) in the keyboard shortcut list, the scroll cues that signal more items below were hard to spot; and (3) the loading display and status message shown during sign-in were hard to read against the dark background.

We adjusted these elements so they display correctly in dark mode. The strikethrough on completed items, the scroll cues in the shortcut list, and the loading display and status message during sign-in are all clearly distinguishable against a dark background.
👀 Don’t miss a state, and use it with confidence
As a result, even in dark mode you can check things like the completion state of items and what’s happening during sign-in without missing them. It feels just as clear as the light view, so you can keep working with confidence.
