ReleaseBug Fix

Go from a locked feature to considering an upgrade, without getting lost

Update released

You can now go from a feature locked by plan limits to considering an upgrade without getting lost. You can tell why it's unavailable and, in your own language, move from right there to changing your plan.

🔒 Understand “why it’s unavailable,” right there

Opening a page locked for a higher plan, it was hard to tell “why it’s unavailable” or “how to upgrade,” and it could feel like a dead end. It was also hard to distinguish between a feature simply not yet enabled on the project side and a feature locked by a plan limit.

With this fix, a locked feature page now makes clear that the feature belongs to a higher plan and what it lets you do. Separately, a state locked by a plan limit and a state where the feature isn’t yet enabled in project settings each show guidance suited to them.

You can tell, right there, why the feature in front of you is unavailable and what to do next.

🌐 Move to changing your plan, in your own language, right there

The button to proceed to an upgrade wasn’t translated in some languages, leaving it unclear for members working in multiple languages. And even when you pressed it, it only took you to the settings page—the plan-change screen itself didn’t open automatically, so the path broke partway.

Now the button to proceed to an upgrade appears in your screen’s language (Japanese, English, Tagalog, Vietnamese), and pressing it opens the plan-change screen directly.

Whatever your language, you can go from finding a locked feature, right there, all the way to considering a plan change without getting lost in extra steps.

✨ A path you can follow without getting lost

We revisited the spots where you might stumble between encountering a locked feature and considering an upgrade.

You understand the reason, you’re guided in your language, and you can follow a single path from there to changing your plan. Considering an upgrade becomes far less confusing.
