Update released
Even if confirming an estimate fails, you can retry on the spot and the confirmed result is applied reliably. Cards are easier to tell apart, and your sense of control holds steady through reloads and updates.
🎯 If confirming an estimate fails, you can retry right there
When the confirmation step failed, the confirmation dialog closed anyway, so it looked like the action was done even though the estimate hadn’t been applied—and there was no way to try again. Worse, if confirmation failed partway through, the session was left hanging as “confirmed,” you couldn’t confirm again, and you were left with the contradiction of “confirmed, yet the estimate isn’t reflected.”
With this update, the confirmation dialog closes only when confirmation succeeds; on failure it stays open and shows the error so you can retry on the spot. We reworked the confirmation so that even a failure leaves things in a state you can retry from.
Even when confirmation doesn’t go through, you can see what happened and try again immediately. The unsettling mismatch of “I thought I confirmed, but nothing’s reflected” is gone.
🃏 Poker cards are clearer, and the feel stays steady
The Poker cards were a single color, making values hard to tell apart, and the cards in the confirmation dialog wrapped unevenly depending on the screen width. If you reloaded the page mid-vote, the highlight on the card you’d chosen disappeared.
With this update, we matched the card colors to how story points appear across the app, emphasizing the card you’ve selected and keeping unselected cards subdued. The cards in the confirmation dialog now line up neatly in two rows. And if you reload mid-vote, your selection is restored.
You can see at a glance which card you’ve chosen, and your selection holds through a reload—so you can keep estimating with confidence.
👥 The participant list keeps a stable order
The list of participants still to vote would reshuffle every time it updated, making it hard to read.
With this update, the order no longer changes on updates.
It’s easier to follow who has already voted. And the way other members’ votes stay hidden while voting is underway is preserved, just as before.
