It doesn't have to be right the first time. Each time you say what to change, the draft is revised—so you can close in on the PBI you have in mind, one round at a time.
🎯 The problem: starting over was the only option
Until now, AI drafting of PBIs worked as a single, one-shot generation. If the draft came out a little different from what you had in mind, there was no way to refine it in place—you had to change your inputs and generate again from scratch. Reaching the draft you were aiming for meant repeating the whole process, which took time. And on longer generations, the screen showed nothing until the result was complete, so you were left waiting with no sign of progress.
✨ The solution: say what to change, and the draft is revised
With this update, we’ve added a new generation screen where you tell it what to change and it revises the draft accordingly. By stacking up instructions like “add this angle” or “make the acceptance criteria more concrete,” you don’t have to nail it in one go—you can move closer to a draft that fits your intent, step by step. There’s no need to rewrite from scratch each time; you just say what you’d like adjusted. Once the draft is settled, you can confirm it and move straight into creating the PBI.
To be clear, this is not a feature where the AI asks you questions to draw out your requirements. It works the other way around: you give the instructions, and the AI revises the draft in response. You, the author, stay in the driver’s seat throughout.
⏳ The added value: see it being generated, and wait less
Results no longer appear all at once when they’re finished—they show up on screen progressively as they’re generated. Because you can see that generation is underway, even a longer draft never leaves you wondering whether it has stalled, and the wait feels lighter. You don’t have to brace yourself to land the perfect draft in a single shot; you can steer through conversation and shape it into something you’re happy with.
