Update released
More room to see your work. Controls now sit along the left edge, and you can widen them only when you need to.
🧭 Navigation now lives in a left sidebar
Until now, navigation, project selection, organization switching, notifications, and feedback were all packed across the top of the screen. On narrower windows the elements crowded each other, and the thick top band ate into the vertical space available for your work.
With this update, navigation—dashboard, sprints, epics, backlog, and statistics—now sits in a left sidebar together with the admin menu, project selection, and the account menu. The top becomes a slim bar carrying only breadcrumbs, organization switching, feedback, and notifications.
On tall screens like the kanban board or PBI details, you can see more at once. The page you’re currently on is highlighted in the sidebar, so where you are is clear at a glance. No items were added, removed, or reordered—every destination is exactly where it was.
🖥️ Collapse it for even more room
The sidebar switches between an icons-only collapsed view and an expanded view that shows item names. Your collapsed state is remembered next time, so there’s no need to set it again each session. Even while collapsed, hovering over an icon shows its name, so you can still pick with confidence.
On mobile widths, the sidebar slides in over the page from the hamburger icon. It closes automatically once you pick an item, so it never gets in the way on a small screen.
⌨️ Keyboard shortcut hints and behavior cleaned up
Alongside the move to a sidebar, we revisited keyboard handling. In the collapsed view, a few items (the admin menu, project selection, and home) weren’t showing their shortcuts. On top of that, the project-selection shortcut didn’t respond while collapsed, and opening the organization-switching menu from the sidebar resulted in an error.
With this update, we’ve made the following improvements:
- Every item now shows its shortcut. In the expanded view, hints are no longer always on—they appear when you hover over an item or select it with the keyboard.
- The project-selection shortcut now responds in the collapsed view too. The sidebar opens and puts you straight into the selector (on narrow screens, a dedicated view opens instead).
- Opening the organization-switching menu from the sidebar no longer causes an error.
- Items no longer shift vertically when you toggle the collapsed view, and the logo is no longer clipped in English.
The shortcut assignments themselves are unchanged. You can still move to the screen you want without reaching for the mouse.
This update changes the screen layout only—your saved data and the contents of each screen are unaffected.
