Update released
No more staring at a screen that has quietly stopped working. Instead of a dead end, you get to see what happened and where to go next.
🔄 When access ends, you’re now shown where to go next
Until now, the screen of a user whose access to an organization had been revoked simply stopped responding, with no error and no sign-out. To that person it looked like something had broken, and there was no way to learn why short of asking.
With this update, when access is revoked the situation is shown on screen right away.
- If you belong to another organization — you are switched over to it automatically, and told that the switch happened. Because it isn’t a silent switch, you always know which organization you’re now looking at. Data from the previous organization is not left behind on screen.
- If you are no longer part of any organization — you are signed out with the reason shown, rather than left with a frozen screen.
A temporary problem on the server will not sign you out. As before, such cases wait for recovery and retry, so an unstable connection alone will never eject you from the screen you’re working on.
💳 Billing errors in your language
Two gaps remained in how billing errors were shown.
The first was failing to open the payment management page. The raw English message returned by the server was displayed as-is; now you see an explanation in the language you use. An error code you can quote when contacting us is shown alongside it (for connection errors and other cases with no code, nothing extra is shown). A failure to launch from “Update Payment Method” — the button shown when a payment is overdue — now gives the same message.
The second was cancelling a scheduled plan change. If the schedule had already been cancelled in another tab, or had already been applied, the screen said only “An unknown error occurred,” leaving both the cause and the next step unclear while the screen stayed out of date. With this update, you now see a message telling you the scheduled change no longer exists, and the subscription status on screen refreshes automatically. Because this is a mismatch in what’s displayed rather than a failure, it is presented as information rather than a warning.
Note that “scheduled plan change” here refers to cancelling a scheduled change of plan (a downgrade). It is a separate action from cancelling or resuming a scheduled cancellation. Guidance for repeating an action too quickly in succession continues to appear with the same wording as before.
🔧 Other fixes
We also fixed an issue where certain actions could not be carried out correctly.
